British GT Championship organiser SRO Motorsports Group has ended its title sponsorship agreement with Intelligent Money.
The multi-year partnership began in 2020 and continued successfully for a further three seasons.
Henceforth, and until a new title sponsor is found, the series will be known as the British GT Championship.
Lauren Granville, British GT Championship Manager: “I would like to thank Intelligent Money for its support and enthusiasm over the last four years – a time period that proved particularly challenging for motorsport due to the global pandemic. We wish the company and in particular its founder, Julian [Penniston-Hill], all the best for the future.”
Julian Penniston-Hill, Intelligent Money Chief Executive: “We wish to thank SRO and all of the British GT teams for so many great memories, opportunities and experiences over the last four years. We remain huge fans of the championship and look forward to following the 2024 season, albeit from further afield.”
This year’s nine-race campaign – the 32nd in British GT’s history – begins at Oulton Park on Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (March 30 + April 1).
