2024: Ramyead and Robertson complete Century’s GT4 line-up

Ginetta graduate Ravi Ramyead joins Charlie Robertson in the second of Century Motorsport’s two BMW M4 GT4s this year.

The team heads into the new season as multiple reigning British GT champions following stellar GT3 and GT4 campaigns.

And after announcing its first GT4 line-up in late January, Century is ready to reveal a second that it hopes will help to defend the teams’ title and challenge for overall honours.

Ramyead is no stranger to the British GT paddock having spent several years contesting Ginetta GT Academy. He finished second with Century in the GTA class last season and is now ready to make the move into multi-class and multi-manufacturer competition.

“It’s great to be continuing with Century Motorsport and stepping up to British GT,” he said. “Making the transition from Ginetta to BMW has felt pretty natural in pre-season testing and I’m really looking forward to the new challenges this championship brings.”

Robertson, meanwhile, is best known for his exploits aboard Ginettas but has now left the factory fold to seek opportunities elsewhere. The first of those is with Ramyead whom he previously coached in GTA.

He has conducted significant pre-season testing in the BMW ahead of a first full-season campaign without Ginetta since 2013 when he finished third in BRDC Formula 4.

“I am hugely excited to get our season underway in British GT with Century Motorsport,” he said. “The GT4 category is looking stronger than ever, which is a huge motivation for both Ravi and I to make sure we leave no stone unturned in preparation. We are confident that the BMW M4 GT4 is a refined package, and look forward to the challenge!”

The duo will share a garage with Century’s other new Pro-Am signings, Ian Gough and Tom Wrigley, when this year’s British GT Championship begins at Oulton Park on March 30 + April 1.
