Steller to display Audi GT3 at Donington ahead of planned 2020 graduation

> Team evaluating potential multi-class entry

Steller Motorsport will display Audi’s latest-specification GT3 car at British GT’s #DoningtonDecider this weekend as part of a planned graduation in 2020.

The team currently contests the GT4 class with an R8, which won on its British GT debut at Snetterton in May.

However, this is just the first step in a closer collaboration with Audi Sport Customer Racing whose R8 LMS GT3 Evo will be on show in the paddock this weekend. Current and aspiring entrants are invited to take a closer look at a car planned to be the cornerstone of Steller’s future programme.

“We’ve been delighted with the support from Audi Sport Customer Racing this season,” said Team Principal Gary Blackham.

“We have already been investigating the potential for stepping up with Audi to GT3 next season and have had some very positive interest. Now we are going to show the car at Donington to allow those who have already spoken to us, and any other interested parties, to get a close look at what is one of the most successful GT3 cars currently out there.”

Steller are currently evaluating a multi-car effort for 2020 with at least two cars, potentially across both GT3 and GT4.

“I’ll be delighted to walk people around the car at Donington, and to answer any questions they have - it’s a very good package with excellent running costs,” added Blackman.

Interested parties can find Gary in Steller’s garage this weekend, or contact him directly on 07521702587.

The Audi will be located in the main paddock outside SRO’s Race Centre hospitality and opposite British GT’s 300th race display.
