The Intelligent Money British GT Championship’s regular 2020 support series roster can now be confirmed following publication of Porsche Sprint Challenge GB’s revised calendar.
The one-make category for Cayman GT4 models was set to join Clio Cup UK as a new regular support championship before the COVID-19 pandemic postponed British GT’s original calendar. Now, following the addition of several new dates, this year’s support schedule can be revealed.
Co-headliners, the BRDC British F3 Championship, will attend all six events along with Ginetta whose G40 Cup and GT5 Challenge categories are due to appear throughout the year.
Clio Cup UK features at all rounds other than British GT’s Oulton Park season opener and is joined at Brands Hatch by its French counterpart. The British championship visits the same five UK venues as previously listed.
Meanwhile, Porsche Sprint Challenge GB has also retained the same three British GT events as originally announced: two at Donington and another at Silverstone. Only the second Donington date – September 19/20 – remains unchanged, while the championship’s other three outings take place with Porsche Club GB and the BTCC.

It’s been a really strong effort and, while we all appreciate everything is provisional pending the ongoing guidance we receive from the government and Motorsport UK, we’ll continue to work together to ensure we can enjoy a full season with everyone’s well-being as a priority.”
Further support series are expected to make one-off appearances throughout the season.
