MKH confirms championship returnees Hawkins and Orton for Aston Martin GT4 entry

Jessica Hawkins and Will Orton are joining forces with MKH Racing this year for a crack at the British GT4 title.

The team returns full-time following a partial Endurance Cup campaign with a Silver class duo that, on paper at least, begins the season amongst the championship favourites.

Orton knows the Aston Martin Vantage GT4 inside out after racing it in British GT and the GT4 European Series over the last two years. He impressed many in 2024 en route to fourth overall and second in Pro-Am alongside Marc Warren in what was the current car’s first season of competition.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to be returning to the British GT Championship in 2026 with MKH Racing, partnering with Jessica Hawkins in the Silver category,” said the former Mini Challenge runner-up. “Having competed in the Aston Martin during its inaugural season in 2024, I’m excited to be back behind the wheel and building on that experience.

“After speaking with the team at MKH Racing, it was clear this programme was the perfect fit. Their ambition and professionalism align perfectly with both Jessica’s and my goals for the season ahead, and I’m confident we have all the ingredients to mount a strong campaign.

“None of this would be possible without the continued support of my incredible partners and everyone at MKH Racing, and I’m hugely grateful for the opportunity. Testing begins soon, and I can’t wait to get started and see what we can achieve together.”

Hawkins was also on the British GT grid with Aston Martin in 2024, albeit in the GT3 class, before moving up to GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS last season. The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team Driver Ambassador now samples her first taste of GT4 machinery.

“I can’t wait to get started in British GT, it’s going to be great to be back in the paddock,” she said. “I’m very excited to be teaming up with MKH Racing and Will Orton – I think together we will be a very strong combination. Of course, our aim is to fight for the championship, and I think we have a strong package to do that. Thank you so much to my partners, Arm and ELEMIS, for their continuous support, as well as the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One™ Team. Will and I are very keen to push hard for a solid, consistent season.”

MKH’s entry takes the total number of GT4 class Aston Martins to six. Full Send Racing and GBR Stratton are both scheduled to run two cars, while Fox Motorsport has also announced its championship return with the manufacturer.

Team Manager Andrew Kirk added: “The team is delighted to be back in the British GT Championship paddock this season. After missing rounds and undergoing driver changes last year, we have unfinished business. We are committed to a full campaign in 2026 and are extremely pleased with the driver line up as we head into the season.

“Will’s experience racing the Aston Martin across recent seasons in British GT and the GT4 European Series, combined with Jessica’s background in GT3 machinery and single-seater competition, makes this an ideal pairing to combine with our teams GT experience.”

Silverstone hosts British GT’s media day on March 31 before the 2026 season kicks off at the same circuit on April 25-26.
