Sam Branston and James Wareing will make their British GT debuts with Innovation Racing at Donington Park next weekend (September 5-6).
The Silver duo currently contest GT Cup with the same team, which has turned heads during its maiden British GT4 campaign. Innovation’s full-season duo of Thomas Holland and Hadley Simpson are just 1.5 points behind championship leaders Will Orton and Jessica Hawkins after scoring their second win of the season at Snetterton.
Their new team-mates race the same Ginetta G56 in GT Cup where they top the GTH (GT4) standings and lie second in the combined classification with two events remaining.
Branston joined the championship as a karting graduate, while Wareing spent time in the national level BMW 116 Trophy before making his GT debut at the start of this year.
The entry is ineligible to score teams’ or drivers’ championship points.
