Graham switches to In2Racing for 2017 British GT4 campaign

In2Racing has revealed that Matthew Graham will complete its full-season British GT driver line-up on the eve of this year’s 25th anniversary campaign.

The 20-year-old scored four podiums en route to fifth in last season’s GT4 drivers’ standings with Macmillan AMR and was expected to race Ebor GT’s Maserati at Oulton Park this weekend.

However, it’s now been confirmed that the former under-18 world karting champion will partner Marcus Hoggarth in the second of In2Racing’s McLaren 570S GT4s.

“It’s great to be able to be back out in GT4 in this year’s British GT and I’m really looking forward to the first round over Easter,” said Graham. “It’s been a long winter with not knowing if it was going to be possible to return with budgets coming up short, so agreeing a season with In2Racing is fantastic and I can’t wait to get started.

“They have a huge amount of experience from other racing series and working alongside Marcus, I’m paired with one of the best bronze drivers on the grid and I’m looking forward to working with them all.”

In2Racing team principal Nick Dudfield added: “In2Racing are pleased to finalise our line-up for 2017, we have had an eye of Matty from his BRDC F4 days and are pleased that we now have the chance to work with a very bright young talent with proven GT4 experience, which will compliment Marcus in what should be a very strong line-up.”

The news means Ebor GT’s Maserati will no longer compete at Oulton, while GPRM’s Toyota GT86 has also been withdrawn.
