Duyver and Anttila join In2Racing for Spa

In2Racing has made a raft of changes to both of its McLaren line-ups ahead of next weekend’s British GT round at Spa-Francorchamps following confirmation that Jacques Duyver and Jesse Anttila will be joining the team.

Both its 570S GT4s will be on the grid for the first time since the championship’s third round at Rockingham where the #14 entry last raced in the hands of Richard Marsh and Gareth Howell.

For Spa, their places have been taken by the Bronze-graded Duyver who will race without a co-driver. The Belgian currently competes in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup’s Am class but is also a previous Ferrari Challenge Europe Coppa Shell champion.

Duyver is also no stranger to competing in British GT. In 2013 he claimed two GTC class victories before also making a one-off GT3 appearance at Silverstone a year later.

Meanwhile, Marcus Hoggarth remains aboard the team’s #29 McLaren but will be joined at Spa by Finnish ace Anttila, his third different co-driver in 2017 following appearances by Matthew Graham and Euan McKay.

The former Finnish KF3 and Formula Ford champion has also competed in Formula Renault UK and Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe, but this will be his first time in a GT4 car since contesting the 2014 European championship aboard a Ginetta G50.

The 23-year-old is expected to remain part of In2Racing’s #29 line-up for the remainder of the season.

British GT’s complete Spa entry list will be revealed next Monday.
