Race winners Graham and Phillips join In2Racing for #DoningtonDecider

In2Racing has shuffled its pack for British GT’s #DoningtonDecider this weekend by pairing 2017 race winners Matthew Graham and William Phillips aboard the #14 McLaren 570s GT4.

Graham is no stranger to the team after previously partnering Marcus Hoggarth in its #29 entry. He then switched to Ebor GT’s Maserati GranTurismo MC with which he and Charlie Fagg claimed a double class victory at Spa-Francorchamps in July.

Phillips, meanwhile, faced the prospect of missing Donington when Macmillan AMR made a late decision to withdraw both of its cars due to unforeseen circumstances yesterday. However, the Brands Hatch race winner has now been thrown a lifeline by In2Racing ahead of the season finale.

Between them, Phillips and Graham have won British GT’s last three GT4 races and will be looking to extend that run on Sunday during Donington’s two-hour enduro.

“Nick asked me to race for him at the start of the year and we nearly put a drive together,” said Phillips, who previously partnered Jan Jonck in Macmillan AMR’s Aston Martin. “I knew it’s a good team with some good guys behind it so he was my first call.

“Our aspirations are definitely a podium finish. The McLaren is a very capable car. Nick has run a good team and they’ve been on the podium this year so I have high hopes.”

Graham added: “I’m pleased to be back out with In2Racing for the Donington decider. We enjoyed some good results together at the start of the year and I'm hopeful we can be strong at Donington.

“The 570S won around here last year, so it's a car that's got a good result in it and both Will and I won our last races in GT4. I've been on the podium in four out of the last five races I've contested this year, so we've hopefully got some momentum behind us.”
