Jordan Witt will return to the British GT Championship at Spa-Francorchamps on July 21/22 after RJN Motorsport confirmed its Nissan GT3 driver line-up for the SRO Speedweek event.
Witt previously replaced the team’s expected full-season driver Devon Modell at Snetterton before Ricardo Sanchez filled the vacant seat alongside Struan Moore at Silverstone, where the Silver Cup pairing claimed pole position.
Now Witt, who also races for RJN with Moore in the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, is back for a second British GT outing of the season at Spa.
“I can’t wait to climb back into the car and get going,” he said. “Spa is one of if not the strongest circuit for me, and somewhere I have enjoyed podiums and wins in the past. At Silverstone Struan and Ricardo proved how competitive a Silver Cup crew can be in the combined qualifying and longer race, so we now intend to give the Nissan GT-R its first podium of the season.”
Both the Saturday and Sunday of SRO Speedweek, which also features the GT4 European Series, Blancpain GT Sports Club and BRDC British F3 Championship, are free to attend.
