A late lap from Yelmer Buurman helped elevate the #116 ERC Sport Mercedes to the top of the timing screens in second practice at Spa-Francorchamps, as the #56 Tolman Motorsport McLaren with Joe Osborne behind the wheel set the pace in GT4.

FP2 wasn’t quite as quick as the morning’s first practice session, but it was once again an Aston Martin leading the way as the session headed into it’s closing stages, with the #75 Optimum Motorsport machine of Flick Haigh and Jonny Adam quickest with just minutes remaining. However, Buurman found more time as the clock ticked down and he ended 0.604s ahead of the field.

Behind Haigh and Adam came the #11 TF Sport car in the hands of Nicki Thiim, with the #7 Team Parker Racing Bentley of Ian Loggie and Callum Macleod fourth fastest. Marco Sorensen took fifth in the #17 Aston Martin with sixth going the way of the #99 Beechdean V12 Vantage piloted by Darren Turner.

The top eight was completed by Maxime Martin in the Jetstream Motorsport Aston Martin and the Team ABBA Racing Mercedes of Richard Neary and Adam Christodoulou.

Joe Osborne led the way in GT4 as he lapped the circuit in 2m33.636s in his Tolman Motorsport McLaren, which was just 0.062s faster than the #43 Century Motorsport BMW of Dean Macdonald and Jack Mitchell.

Third belonged to the #10 McLaren of Daniel McKay and Finlay Hutchinson as the #501 Balfe Motorsport car of Graham Johnson and Mike Robinson ended fourth quickest.

In fifth came the Nissan of Kelvin Fletcher and Martin Plowman, ahead of the #77 Fox Motorsport Mercedes of Mark Murfitt and Michael Broadhurst. The top eight was completed by the HHC Motorsport Ginetta of Patrik Matthiesen and Callum Pointon, and the #50 car of their team-mates Mike Newbould and Will Burns.
