> Official result: Silverstone 500
The result of this year’s Silverstone 500 is now official after JRM Racing withdrew its appeal.
The team’s #31 Bentley shared by Rick Parfitt Jnr and Seb Morris finished third on the road but was excluded for not complying with post-race dry weight requirements. JRM initially contested the scrutineers’ decision but has withdrawn its appeal ahead of the scheduled Motorsport UK hearing.
The provisional results and points published post-race on June 9 therefore remain unchanged, with WPI Motorsport’s Michael Igoe and Dennis Lind inheriting the final podium position.
Optimum Motorsport’s Ollie Wilkinson and Bradley Ellis also remain third in the GT3 Drivers’ Championship after being classified fourth at Silverstone.
