GT Cup champions Seale and Stanley confirm British GT switch with JMH

JMH Automotive will mount a full-season assault on the British GT Championship in 2020 after confirming an updated Lamborghini Huracan GT3.

The familiar duo of John Seale and Jamie Stanley are returning for all seven rounds following two race-by-race appearances at Silverstone and Donington earlier this year.

The news comes just two days after the pair wrapped up GT Cup’s GTO class title at Snetterton where JMH were also crowned overall Teams’ champions.

Seale has been a mainstay of national GT racing for many years having first won the GT Cup title in 2014. However, 2020 will be his first full-season British GT foray after also previously making a one-off GTC class appearance at the end of 2018.

“Myself, Jamie and the team are all really pleased and excited to be joining British GT full-time next season,” said Seale. “It’s been a personal ambition of mine for a number of years and I now feel ready after spending a season racing the Lamborghini. We know it will be a step up and a lot of hard work, but that’s okay: we are eager to challenge ourselves against the best in Britain.”

His co-driver, Stanley, boasts a good deal more British GT experience having won 2010’s GT4 crown and been a regular in the class up until 2015. He, like Seale, returns to the championship with a full year of Lamborghini experience under his belt.

Oulton Park hosts the opening round of next season’s British GT Championship on April 11 & 13.
